SWIC noncredit classes now offered in Highland
If you are in the Highland area and want to learn something new, you are in luck. Southwestern Illinois College is now offering noncredit classes at the Louis Latzer Memorial Public Library, 1001 9th St.
▪ Sign Language: Tuesdays, Feb. 16 through March 29 (March 22, no class) from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Fee is $68.
▪ Painting: Thursdays, Feb. 18 through March 24 From 7 to 9 p.m. Fee is $108. Materials fee is $15.
In-Camera Magic, The 12 Essentials: Mondays, Feb. 15-29 from 6 to 9 p.m. Fee is $81.
▪ Smartphone Photography: Wednesday, Feb. 24 from 6 to 9 p.m. Fee is $27.
▪ Portrait Photography: The Basics and Beyond: Fridays, March 4-18 from 6 to 9 p.m. Fee is $81.
▪ Travel/Vacation Photography: Monday, March 7 from 6 to 9 p.m. Fee is $27.
▪ Finishing Wood Products Series: Fee is $54 Materials fee is $15. Classes will be held at Cabinet Gallery, 205 Madison St. in Highland. Section 1 will be Mondays, Feb. 15 -Feb. 29 from 6 to 8 p.m. Section 2 will be on Mondays, March 7-21 from 6 to 8 p.m.
