St. Joseph’s Hospital in Breese to hold used book sale
More than 36,000 used books and other merchandise will be on hand when the HSHS St. Joseph-Breese Auxiliary hosts its 14th annual Used Book Fair and Bake Sale Thursday through Sunday, Feb. 18-21, at the Breese American Legion, 575 N. Main St.
Admission will be charged the first day only — $6 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and $3 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. — with free admission the remaining three days.
Bake sale items will only be available Friday, Feb. 19, from 10 a.m. until sold out.
The event will be open as follows:
▪ Thursday, Feb. 18, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.;
▪ Friday, Feb. 19, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with everything half-price after 3 p.m.;
▪ Saturday, Feb. 20, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with everything half-price all day; and
▪ Sunday, Feb. 21, 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. with prices at $3 per bag then 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon, everything free.
Note: event coordinators have the option of adjusting the schedule in case of inclement weather or other emergency. If possible, details will be posted on the hospital’s Facebook page accessible from www.stjoebreese.com.
