Legacy Place in Breese to hold eight-part series on Alzheimer’s

Legacy Place, 13887 Progress Drive in Breese, will hold an eight-part series of support group sessions that will help family members and caregivers better understand and cope with the changes of their loved one experiencing Alzheimer’s or dementia.

Each monthly session is designed to support and aid those caring for an individual with Alzheimer’s or dementia and firmly focuses on areas such as grief, understanding the disease, stress management, communcation and much more.

Participation in the support group is free, and the community is welcome.

The sessions will be held at 6:30 p.m., starting on Wednesday, Feb. 24. They will continue at the same time on the fourth Wednesday of each month through September.
