Highland Relay for Life Team to hold auction, night of fun
Do you know someone who is currently battling cancer?
Do you know someone who has lost their fight with cancer?
Would you like to be instrumental in finding a cure for cancer?
If you answered, “Yes,” to any of these questions, join the Myeloma Maniacs Relay for Life Team at Poplar Junction bowling alley on Saturday, Feb. 20 at 6:30 p.m. for a silent auction, 50-50 drawings, games, attendance prizes and snacks.
The team is also selling tickets for the American Cancer Society “Strike Out Cancer Day” at Busch Stadium on Aug. 28, when Cardinals are playing the Oakland A’s. Tickets are $35 each (100-200 levels), and each ticket includes a hot dog, a soda, pre-game activities. as well as promotional things that the Cardinals are offering that day:
▪ Adult replica batting practice hat for the first 30,000 fans 16 or older;
▪ Cardinals Hall of Fame Weekend;
▪ Prairie Farms Ice Cream Sunday; and
▪ Prairie Farms Kids Run the Bases Day (weather permitting and after the game).
The team is also hosting a Thirty-One fundraiser. Go online to www.mythirtyone.com/reginalipski.com and shop under the Myeloma Maniacs Relay for Life Team.
