Grantfork students will be asked to take “The Challenge-Take Charge-Turn Screens Off and Turn Life On.” Parents and children are asked to keep a log for three days to find out how many hours per day each child spends in front of an electronic screen. Between television, video games, cell phones and hand held games, children are letting the world around them pass them by without noticing. Try to make a goal to lessen the time spent on electronic each week and take your log to school to show your teacher.
Students will enjoy skating in P.E. from Feb. 16-26. This will be paid for by the PTO with the money earned by the various fund raisers.
On Friday, Feb. 19, the Six Flags Read to Succeed logs are to be turned in. Also on this date, the Butterbraid orders and money are due.
