Masons to hold chili supper Saturday, fire department to hold breakfast Sunday in New Douglas

Masonic Lodge 560 is have a chili and soup supper from 3 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 19. Cost is $7 for all-you-can eat homemade chili/soup, plus a sandwich, drink and dessert. Carry-outs will be available.

The New Douglas Fire Department will hold its fifth annual “Pancakes and More” breakfast will be held on from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 20 at the fire hall, 105 E. Allen St.

Cost is $7 for adults; $5 for children ages 5 to 10; and children 4 and under eat free. Carry-outs will be available at the adult price only.

The menu will include signature sausage, pancakes, scrambled eggs, homemade doughnuts and biscuits and gravy, and drinks.

The New Douglas Volunteer Fire Department is holding a spring raffle. There will be three winning options, a gun, a bow, and cash. The drawing will be held at 1 p.m. on March 20 at the firehouse, following the spring breakfast fundraiser. Tickets are one for $10 or six for $50. Email newdouglasfire@gmail.com for tickets.
