SWIC to offer free “People’s Law School” workshops

Learn more about our legal system through free workshops held at Southwestern Illinois College. Each People’s Law School workshop is conducted by a local attorney and consists of a lecture on Wednesdays from 7 to 9 p.m.

People’s Law School Workshops include:

▪ April 6 - Personal Injury/Worker’s Compensation, with Jon Rosenstengel;

▪ April 13 - Family Law, with Patrick Foley and Chet Kelly;

▪ April 22 - Wills and Probate, with Richard Erdmann; and

▪ April 29 - Real Estate, Property and Domain, with B. Jay Dowling.

All workshops are held in the Information Sciences Building, Room 2014 at the Belleville Campus, 2500 Carlyle Ave.

The People’s Law School series is sponsored by the St. Clair County Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association and SWIC.
