Highland Area Women’s Connection to host “Tea Time Brunch”

The Highland Area Women’s Connection invites all ladies to a “Tea Time Brunch” from 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 12 at the Highland Country Club, located off of Illinois Route 143, east of Highland.

Bruce Bellm of the Highland Country Club will prepare “High Tea” for the group. Ladies are encouraged to wear hats and gloves for fun. Also, Vickie Bacon of Highland Nutrition will explain the health benefits of drinking various types of teas. Speaker Karilyn Eastvold of Springfield, Ill., will give helpful insights on how you can get “off the merry-go-round of worry.”

No membership is required. All women are welcome. Walk-ins welcome. Reservations may be made by calling Kathy at (314) 313-8092 or email highlandwomensconnection@gmail.com. Cost for this event is $15 per person, which includes the program and breakfast buffet, and is payable at the door.
