Hard Road Theatre to hold auditions for “Beauty and the Beast Jr.”
Hard Road Theatre Productions, in association with the Highland Arts Council, will be holding auditions for their summer youth production, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Jr. on Saturday, April 23 and Sunday, April 24.
Auditions will be held at the Highland Elementary Auditorium in from noon to 4 p.m. Sign-ups begin at 11:30 a.m. All those auditioning have to be at the theater and sign-up before noon. No one who arrives late will be allowed to audition. Auditions are open for students in second to ninth grades. There are lots of roles for boys and girls.
For auditions, students should be prepared to sing one of the songs from the song list found on the Hard Road website (www.hardroad.org). Additional materials, including music and script excerpts, can be found through the Hard Road website.
Performances for Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Jr. will be June 23-26. Disney’s Beauty and the Beast Jr. is directed by Gentry Nessel.
