Woodcrest Small Engine and Saw Repair has new owner, address
Woodcrest Small Engine and Saw Repair in Highland has a new owner and has undergone a change of address. Shaun Horstmann is the new owner, and the business has relocated to 705 Broadway.
“I bought Dave Munie out last February and started at 13th Street over there at the old Jet-Lite (Products Inc.) building, then (I) saw this building come available, so I moved over here and took on this Gravely line. And here we are,” Horstmann said.
Woodcrest Small Engine and Saw Repair is a full-service small engine shop that has been in operation for more than 10 years. With its new location and expanded floor space, Woodcrest is now the area’s local Gravely dealer and features more than 18 Gravely mowers on the newly renovated showroom floor. Woodcrest specializes in repair of small engines including lawnmowers, chainsaws, weedeaters, leaf blowers, generators, pressure washers, snow blowers, tillers and more.
“I just want to keep on growing (the business), seeing how much I can sell and keep the service department rolling, too. That way we can help as many people as we can,” Horstman said. “Customer service is very important, and I am trying to take care of everybody the best way I can. We’ll service all makes and models as long as we can here, and try to keep a good amount of parts for everything we can in stock. Our prices are very competitive, I would think, compared to the other dealerships in town.”
Woodcrest also provides a pick-up and delivery service for convenience of its customers for a standard fee. With a stocked inventory, including batteries, oils, filters, belts and other maintenance items, Woodcrest is able to service a large variety of engines for all seasons.
Woodcrest also repairs and sells refurbished lawnmowers and other machines. They also sharpen chains and lawnmower blades in house.
Horstmann has a small but loyal team of dedicated employees in Tyler Kathmann, Brad Potthast and James Gerald.
