Highland Interact Club will do yard work for seniors, veterans
The Highland Interact Club is providing a yard clean up day for senior citizens/veterans who reside within the Highland city limits. The event will be on Saturday, May 7, beginning at 9:30 a.m.
Members of the Interact Club will be available to help seniors and veterans do spring chores around the yard that may require extra hands. Interact members will assist or perform duties that are light duty in nature, such as raking, planting, and general yard work. There is no charge for this service, but it is a pay-it-forward activity. Donations will be accepted for the Highland Food Pantry.
Highland Interact Club is a newly chartered club consisting of teenagers from the Highland area. The club is sponsored by the Highland Rotary Club.
