A picker’s delight: Sales planned in Alhambra, Grantfork, St. Jacob & Highland this weekend

The NiCE Foundation (Nicaragua Christian Education) will hold its annual spring garage sale at the old Artex building, 1405 Walnut in Highland this weekend. Sale dates and times will be from 2 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 5; from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, May 6; from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 7.

Sale items will include clothing (toddler to 3X), spring decorations, housewares, antiques, glassware, flea market items, toys, books, games, vinyl records, tapes, movies, bedding, baby items (strollers, etc.), and other items too numerous to mention.

Grantfork village yard sale

The village-wide Grantfork yard sales will be held on Thursday, May 5 from 3 to 8 p.m.; on Friday May 6 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and on Saturday, May 7 from 8 a.m. to noon.

Alhambra village yard sales

The annual Alhambra Yard Sales will be held from May 5-7 this year. Maps will be available, compliments of Yvonne Green of Equity Fifty-Five. The Jaycees will have a Dumpster behind the Jaycee Hall for all to use.

St. Jacob UCC Youth Group rummage sale

The Youth Group at St. Jacob United Church of Christ will hold a rummage sale May 5-7 at the church.

Hours for the rummage sale are from 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 5; from 8 a.m. to noon on Friday, May 6; and from 7 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 7.
