Latzer Library sponsoring youth math club
Math is a cool thing to do at the library.
The Crazy 8s Math Club is an over-the-top library club designed to get kids fired up about math. Every week, Crazy 8ers build stuff, run and jump, make music, make a mess… and make new friendships at the same time.
The Jennie Latzer Kaeser Children’s Library is planning this eight-week event for students K-2 and grades 3-5. Beginning on Tuesday, June 7 from 11 a.m. to noon for eight consecutive weeks, the K-2 age group will meet. The grades 3-5 group will also begin meeting on Tuesday, June 7, from 1 to 2 p.m.
Registration is ongoing and lasts until the groups are full. This program’s success depends on an eight-week commitment, and spaces are limited.
Drop by the children’s library to register, or call Kay at 654-5066, ext. 3.
Crazy 8s Club is sponsored by Bedtime Math. Learn more at www.bedtimemath.org.
