Highland area police briefs for June 13-20

HPD misdemeanors, tickets, citations
June 13

June 14
▪ Willie L. Greer, 21, of Highland was charged with theft for allegedly taking two truckloads of oak firewood.
▪ A juvenile, 17, of Pocahontas was charged with possession of tobacco by a minor.
▪ A juvenile, 17, of Highland was charged with possession of cannabis.
June 15
▪ Brandon McTeer, 18, of Pocahontas was charged with failure to stop/yield at a sign.
▪ Lindsay R. Reagan, 33, of Highland was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
June 16-17
▪ No tickets issued.
June 18
▪ Christopher Barry, 21, of Marine was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of drug paraphernalia, improper parking, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
▪ Molly Hemberger, 36, of Glen Carbon was charged with speeding.
▪ Dana Dourland, 33, of Pocahontas was charged with having an expired vehicle registration.
▪ Austin J. Nix, 18, of Highland was charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia. A juvenile, 17, of Highland was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia in the same incident.
▪ Kala Graves, 25, of Carlyle was charged with having an expired vehicle registration.
▪ A juvenile, 17, of Highland was charged with failure to stop/yield at a sign.
June 19
▪ Shane Yetter, 18, of New Douglas was charged with disobeying a traffic control device.
▪ Brett Burgess, 26, of Pierron was charged with having an expired vehicle registration and operation of an uninsured motor vehicle.
