Don’t miss the opportunity to be part of three of this year’s Troy Lions Club parades, set for Thursday, July 21 through Saturday, July 23.
The first parade on Thursday night will be put on by the Troy Community in Action group and includes many of your children’s favorite characters. There will be time for pictures and meeting the characters so be sure to bring your own camera. The parade will be held on Wickliffe Street (through the Tri-Township Park).
On Friday and Saturday night, the parade will provide you, your company or your organization the opportunity to participate by building a float, bringing an entertainment group or encouraging your church or school to participate. The parade will run from Market Street to Wickliffe, right into the park. Parade entries will line up at Market Street and Dewey.
This year’s theme is “Shine Like A Diamond,” so all of the parade entries should think of incorporating the theme into their entry. Remember, your participation will help make the parade even better!
