Highland League of Writers to hear about “writing columns”

The Highland League of Writers will meet from 6 to 9 p.m. on July 18 in meeting room No. 2 at the Korte Recreation Center in Highland.

The featured speakers will be Don and Jan Stover, co-publishers/co-editors of The Owl Creek Gazette. The presentation will be on “Writing Columns.” Anyone interested in writing a column or an article for print, or writing in general, should attend this interesting meeting.

You can come just to hear member readings, or read your own words for a friendly critique. There are no dues, fees or assigned topics. Meetings are normally the first and third Monday each month.
