Ramsae and Lois Stricker of Highland celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 18 with an Alaskan cruise.

Ramsae Stricker and the former Lois Best were married on June 18, 1966 in Staunton.

Ramsae retired in 2010 from being director of facility management of St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Belleville.

Lois retired from Tri-Onics Inc. in Highland as an administrative assistant. She is now working at a bridal shop in Edwardsville, something she has always wanted to do.

They both enjoy traveling and visiting their children and grandchildren in Florida and Arizona.

They have four children, Michael (Dianne) Stricker of Fountain Hill, Fla.; Beth (Gene) Fisher of Okawville; Alana (David) DeCurtis of Orlando, Fla.; and Ryan (Melissa) Stricker of Pocahontas.

They have 14 grandchildren, Jessica, Brett and Jennifer Stricker; Jason Fisher; Chris (Kursty) Fisher; Jared Fisher; Chad (Jenny) Fisher; Nicole Fisher; Ashley, Tahla and Alexa DeCurtis; and Brady, Delaney and Oliver Stricker.

They have two great-grandchildren, Robert Fisher and Garrett Fisher.
