Engagement: Alvarado-Vosholler
Alicia Jeannette Alvarado and Dustin Jacob Vosholler, both of Highland, are engaged.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Drs. Alejandro and Janet Alvarado of Highland and the granddaughter of late Charlie Knipple and Lois Knipple of Madisonville, Ky., and the late Edgar and Rosario Alvarado of San Jose, Costa Rica. She was born in Chesterfield, Mo., and went to Highland High School. She is a graduate of Chamberlain College of Nursing, where she received her bachelor of science in nursing. She is employed as a nurse in the emergency department at Barnes-Jewish Hospital.
The groom-to-be is the son of Jerry and Marlene Vosholler of Highland. He is the grandson of the late Al and Francis Luitjohan and the late Anton and Virginia Vosholler. He was born in Breese and attended Highland High School. He graduated from Southeastern Lineman Training Center, with lineman training certification. He is employed as a lineman apprentice with Ameren in East St. Louis.
The couple plans to marry Sept. 10, 2016.
