Highland Garden Club to meet at Latzer Homestead

The Highland Garden Club will meet at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 25. This month, the meeting is “Membership Appreciation” and the “New Member Drive.” The meeting will be held at the Latzer Homestead, 1464 Old Trenton Road, south of Highland. Light refreshments will be served. Annual membership dues are also due at this time. The Latzer Homestead will be open if you are interested in taking a tour. Please bring a lawn chair, as the meeting will be held outdoors.

The Highland Garden Club meets monthly on the fourth Thursday of each month. The mission of the club is “To plant the seeds of knowledge, cultivate friendships, grow in our appreciation of nature, harvest ideas, and preserve the beauty of our community.” Anyone interested in learning more about the Garden Club should call Kathy Moore, club president, at 654-3579.
