55th Anniversary: Richard & Susan Schmidt
Richard and Susan Schmidt of St. Jacob celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary recently. They were married on June 17, 1961 at the United Church of Christ in St. Jacob, with the Rev. Keith Klostermann officiating.
They are the parents of four children, Eric (Ronda) Schmidt, Jason Schmidt, Justin (Ann) Schmidt and Rachel (Jeremy) Stopka. Richard and Susan have been blessed with seven grandchildren.
