Highland Police Department department to hold auction

The Highland Police Department will be having an auction to sell found and surplus city property on Saturday, Sept. 10, starting at 8 a.m., at the HCS Building, 192 Woodcrest Drive in Highland.

Found and recovered unclaimed property includes 32 bicycles and other various items. All found and recovered items set to be auctioned were found no sooner than six months ago. Anyone who believes they have lost a bicycle or other item may check with the police department prior to the auction to see if their property is amongst these items. A detailed description or proof of ownership will be necessary for the item to be released prior to it being auctioned.
