Linda D. Haake, 63, of Germantown died on Friday, July 3, 2015 at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Belleville.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, July 6 and again from 8 to 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7 at Moss Funeral Home in Germantown. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown, with Father James Buerster officiating. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery.

She was born on Oct. 23, 1951 in Chicago to Donald and Barbara (Kamins) Pabst. She married Raymond Haake on March 20, 1971 at St. Martha Catholic Church in Morton Grove, Ill., and he survives in Germantown.

Mrs. Haake received her master’s degree in special education and taught pre-kindergarten at Germantown Elementary. She was also a professional story teller and dressed in costume for the appropriate theme of the story. She had been a past coordinator of religious education for St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown.

Also surviving are her children, Mary (Corey) Hemker of Bartelso, Patricia Haake of Belleville, John (Abby) Haake of Clarksville, Tenn., Lisa Haake of Centralia, Donna (Kyle) Santel of Germantown and Chandler Haake of Germantown; 11 grandchildren; a brother, Ricky Pabst of Lubbock, Texas; sisters, Pegie Polec of Aviston, Debbie Pabst of Rockford, Vicki (Curt) Yow of Midland, Texas, and Cheryl Edick of Texas; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Lawrence Haake of Breese, Ruth Jones of St. Louis, Mo., Frank (Marcia) Haake of Seattle, Wash., Jim (Joann) Haake of Germantown, Albert (Gina) Haake of Germantown, Josie Haake of Wis., and Gerald Heintz of Venedy.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers- and sisters-in-law, Mildred and Paul Gubany, Rosemary and Edwin Fuhler, Paul Haake, Charles Haake, Helen Heintz, Patrick Haake, Bob Jones and Theresa Haake.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
