Larry Kampwerth, 63
Larry Paul Kampwerth, 63, died on Friday, Aug. 7, 2015 in Katy, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 11 in the chapel at Davis Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg, Texas. A memorial service will also be held in Highland at a later date. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 12 at River Pointe Church, with Pastor Patrick Kelley officiating.
He was born on Nov. 5, 1951 in Highland to Jerome and Irma Kampwerth.
Mr. Kampwerth was a retired truck driver and owned and operated Dream Dinners in Missouri City, Texas. He was a devoted member of River Pointe Church, where he volunteered on the Traffic Team.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Katherine Kampwerth; sons, Steven (Lisa) Kampwerth and Marc (fiancée Melissa) Kampwerth; brothers, Daniel (Tami) Kampwerth, Roger (Tina) Kampwerth; a sister, Lori (Kevin) Suess; sisters-in-laws; Karla Riggs, LeaAnn Wigginton and Lori (Mark) Kuhn; brothers-in-law, Kevin (Denise) McGraw and Rodney (Kelly) O’Bryan; grandchildren, Aiden Kampwerth, Mia Kampwerth, Brock Harrell, Bryson Harrell and Merrick Ross; 11 nephews; 10 nieces; and many other loving family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother-in-law, Ted Riggs.
