Deborah Neumann, 45

Deborah “Debbie” Neumann, 45, of Pocahontas died on Monday, Sept. 21, 2015 at her home.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 24 and from 8 to 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 25 at Meridith Funeral Home in Pocahontas. A funeral service will follow the visitation on Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Adam Penn, pastor of United Methodist Church in Pocahontas, officiating. Burial will be in Greene Cemetery.

She was born on Oct. 7, 1969. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed being around her family, especially her granddaughter. She was a strong-willed person. She liked to go shopping, and loved dogs, tweety birds and bears.

She is survived by her son, Steven (significant other Becky Barker) Neumann of Greenville; a granddaughter, Destiny Ann Neumann; her mother, June Childerson of Pocahontas; a brother, Doug (Angela) Childerson of Glen Carbon; aunts, Jane Childerson, Caroline Childerson, Rita Pellazari; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church in Pocahontas.
