Randall Beel, 58

Randall Jacob “Randy” Beel, 58, of Smyrna, Tenn., died on Monday, Sept. 28, 2015 at West Meade Place Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.

Services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 1 at Southeast Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, Tenn., with Brother Joe Vinson officiating.

Local visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3 at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation on Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Christopher W. Hill, senior pastor of Evangelical United Church of Christ in Highland, officiating. Burial will be in Highland City Cemetery.

He was born on Oct. 2, 1956 in Highland to Clinton Jacob “Jake” and June Louise (Luehm) Beel. He married Frances E. Hudson. She survives in Smyrna, Tenn.

Mr. Beel was a tool and die maker by trade and was employed at Nissan in Smyrna, Tenn., before his illness. His hobbies were fishing, camping, and restoring and driving old cars. He was a member of Southeast Baptist Church and the Sam Davis Lodge 661 A.F. & A.M., both in Smyrna.

Other survivors his parents, who live in Murfreesboro, Tenn.; a step-son, Michael Rhodes of Woodbury, Tenn.; step-daughters, Dawn Rhodes of Murfreesboro, Tenn., and Nicole Rhodes of Lazerne, Tenn.; step-grandchildren, Issac Gibson, Chloe Gibson, Abigail Gibson, Renee Fowler, Michelle Rhodes, Victoria O’Neal and Austin Heinze; step-great-grandchildren, Breyden Fowler, Dresden Fowler and Rodney Dillard III; a brother, Dr. Rory J. (Melinda) Beel, D.C., of Smyrna, Tenn.; a niece, Susan Beel; nephews, Clint and Carl Beel; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Memorials may be made to Southeast Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, Tenn., or a charity of the donor’s choice.
