Glenda Goodall, 78
Glenda Sue Goodall, 78, of Alhambra died on Sunday, Jan. 31, 2016 at Christian Hospital Northeast in St. Louis, Mo.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until time of services at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 4 at Calvary Life Church in Granite City, with Pastor Mark Maynard officiating. Wojstrom Funeral Home and Crematory in Pontoon Beach is in charge of arrangements.
She was born March 4, 1937 in St. Louis, Mo., to Virtus (Bales) Pillion and Glenn Kingston. On Nov. 28, 1964, she and Donald “Don” Howard Goodall were married in Marine. He preceded her in death on March 6, 2015.
Mrs. Goodall had been a grocery clerk and loved revamping furniture in her younger years. After her marriage to Don, she became a devoted wife and mother and eventually grandmother and great-grandmother. She had been a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Glenview Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed helping others and was a volunteer at Eyes of Illinois. Some of her favorite pastimes included puzzles, computer games, Jimmy Swaggart and loving on her many grandkids.
She is survived by her children, Sandy (Richard) Horn of Belleville, Joe (DeeAnne) Goodall of Highland, Brenda (Gene Eader) Goodall of Alhambra, David (Debbie) Goodall of Granite City, Rhonda (Paul) Wiegand of Alhambra and Chris (Carrie) Goodall of Alhambra; grandchildren, Karen Gianoulis, Jennifer (Dan Urnikis) Listello, Heather (Brad) Frailey, Angela (Jim Crawley) Goodall Haines, Donald Jason Goodall, Jaimee Sue Bast, Denise (Bryon) Bennett, David Jay Goodall, Adam (Gracie) Goodall, Andrew Goodall, Kelsey (Forrest) Riggs, Sarah Wiegand, Emily Wiegand, Nicholas Wiegand, Amber Glynn, Kayla (Jered) Littlefield, Kyle Littlefield, Corinne (Alex Guyer) Goodall, Kelli Littlefield, Clayton Goodall and Cole Goodall; and great-grandchildren, Loren Ransom, Joey and Cali Mackey, Hanna and Alyssa Listello, Kate, Kailey, Leah and Evan Urnikis, Isabelle and Paige Frailey, Chaya Haines, Camille Crawley, Brianna Collins, Kain, Brody, MaKenna, Xanthe and Rhayna Goodall, Jordan and John Campbell, Natalie, Kaylee and Bryon Bennett, Alix, Emiah and Emerson Cooper Goodall, Kyree and Landyn Richardson, Boston and Lawson Goodall, Brylee and Evan Riggs, Shelton and Keeley Black, Gage Glynn, and Kara and Serafina Littlefield.
She was preceded in death by parents; brothers, John and Fred Kingston; and sisters, Alice Prewitt, Jackie Utley, Shirley Turley and Eleanor Bergschneider.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Life Church or Christian Hospital Northeast ICU.
