Nancy Ellen Kirkman, 67, of Greenville died on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Helia Health Care in Greenville.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 9 at Donnell-Wiegand in Greenville. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 10 at Donnell-Wiegand Funeral Home in Greenville, with Pastor Don Propeck officiating. Burial will follow in McInturf Cemetery.
She was born on July 4, 1948 in Highland to Lester Adolph and Ruby Marie (Baldwin) Kircher. She married John M. Kirkman on June 11, 1966 in the Jamestown Evangelical Church. They enjoyed more than 49 years together. He survives.
Mrs. Kirkman grew up in Pierron. She attended school in Pocahontas before graduating from Greenville High School in 1966. She and her husband raised their children. She raised dogs, including Cocker Spaniels, Shelties and Rottweilers, and she loved horses. She was a member of the Jamestown Evangelical Church of Christ.

Other survivors include her children, Sara A. (Shane) Vosse of Belleville and Timothy M. Kirkman of Troy, Mo.; grandsons, Ryan and Evan Vosse; a sister, Rosemary (Pat) York of Greenville; and a brother, William (Connie) Kircher of Pocahontas.
Memorials may be made to Bond County Home Health or to Bond County Hospice.
