Edward Meyer, 71

Edward F. Meyer, 71, of O’Fallon, Mo., died on on Tuesday March 8, 2016.

A funeral Mass was held on Monday, March 14 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Dardenne Prairie, Mo. Interment was in the Cemetery of Our Lady in Lake St. Louis, Mo. The Stygar Mid Rivers Funeral Home & Crematory in St. Charles, Mo., was in charge of arrangements.

He was born on July 1, 1944 in Highland to Fred and Cornelia Meyer.

Mr. Meyer was a beloved husband, loving father, proud and amazing grandfather, and a dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle and cousin. He was a friend to many.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Patricia A. “Patty” Meyer (nee Fitzpatrick) of O’Fallon, Mo.; a daughter, Susan (Scott) Rudloff of O’Fallon, Mo.; grandchildren, Ashley, Kyle and Sara; and sisters, Elly Kensinger and Marion Dierkes.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
