Kevin Kleinik, 48, of Grantfork died on Friday, March 25, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Highland.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29 at Meridith Funeral Home in Highland. A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29 at Meridith Funeral Home in Highland, with the Rev. Dan Perry, pastor of Tremont United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be at a later date.

He was born on Sept. 7, 1967 in Greenville to Berthel and Barbara Ann (Busch) Kleinik.

Mr. Kleinik was a great brother, dad and grandpa. He loved his family very much. He was outgoing, a jokester, always had a smile on his face, and he never knew a stranger. He loved motorcycles, NASCAR, and St. Louis Blues hockey. He played washers and pool. He was a dad to everybody.

He is survived by his children, Joshua (girlfriend Nikki Wolf) Kleinik of Highland, Tyler Kleinik of Highland, Nicole (boyfriend Derick Handegan) Kreiter of Belleville and Ashley Brooks of Highland; grandchildren, Lorelei Kineke, Josephine Kleinik, Cameron and Jillian Kreiter, and Colin Brooks; sisters, Paula (Terry) Lloyd of Greenville and Sandy (Rockie) Miller of Hillsboro; brothers, Jeff (Brenda) Kleinik of Pocahontas and David Kleinik of Pocahontas; his best friend, Lou; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorials may be made to the family.
