Southern Illinois Roughnecks

The 15U Southern Illinois Roughnecks baseball teams will be holding tryouts for the 2016 on Saturday, Aug. 1 at noon at Grantfork Fireman’s Park. The season starts after the high school season is over. For more information, call Mike Blackburn at (618) 444-4592.

The 14U Southern Illinois Roughnecks baseball teams will be holding tryouts for the 2016 season on Saturday, Aug. 1 at 10 a.m. at Grantfork Fireman’s Park. Arrive early to register. For the AA team, call Brad Davis at (618) 791-3209. For the AAA team, which starts after the high school season is over, call Kevin Smith at (618) 670-6281.

The 13U Southern Illinois Roughnecks baseball teams (two AA teams) will be holding tryouts for the 2016 season on Tuesday, July 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Saturday, July 25 from 10 a.m. to noon at Grantfork Fireman’s Park. The 11U Southern Illinois Roughnecks baseball team will be holding tryouts for the 2016 season on Saturday, July 25 at10 a.m. and Wednesday, July 29 at 6 p.m. at Grantfork Fireman’s Park. The 10U Southern Illinois Roughnecks baseball team will be holding tryouts for the 2016 season on Tuesday, July 21 at 6 p.m. and on Thursday, July 23 at 6 p.m. at Grantfork Fireman’s Park. Trenton Thunder Softball

The Trenton Thunder 18U fastpitch select softball team is hosting tryouts for the upcoming 2015-16 season. Tryouts will be held on Saturday, Aug. 8 at Trenton Community Park field No. 3 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Please be there approximately 15 minutes prior to tryout to fill out required paperwork.

Metro Spinners Softball

The Metro Spinners 16U softball tryouts will be held Sunday, July 26 from 9 to 11 a.m. at Laderman Park in Belleville and Tuesday, July 28 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Belleville Althoff High School.

Clinton County Tornadoes Baseball

A new 10U team affiliated with the current 11U Tornadoes team is being created to play in the SWIBL and tournaments. Tryouts for 2016 will be held at Trenton City Park, Diamond No. 3 on Aug. 1 from 10 a.m. to noon and Aug. 2 from 1 to 3 p.m. Please arrive 30 minutes prior for registration and warmup.

Players are not required to be there both days. Players must be born on/after May 1, 2005. Players do not need to be from Clinton County to tryout for the team.
