Police officer talks to students about bike safety
Estelle Kampmeyer Elementary School in O’Fallon hosted its 11th annual walk and bike to school day event on Wednesday, Oct. 5.
O’Fallon Police Officer Bill Barlock was on hand to talk to students about bike safety.
Students who won prizes at the event were as follows:

▪ Helmet winners: Katie Breaux and Landon Dippel
▪ Bike lock winners: Michael Summers and Katelyn Ferguson
St. Clare soccer teams win tournament
Three soccer teams from St. Clare School in O’Fallon took first place in the recent Belleville Diocesan tournament — the fifth and sixth-grade girls, the seventh and eighth-grade boys and the seventh and eighth-grade girls. The fifth and sixth-grade boys’ soccer team placed third.
Skate night at Fun Spot
Shiloh District 85’s Parent Teacher Organization is having a spooky skate night from 6-8 p.m. Oct. 14 at Fun Spot in Belleville.
Get your fill of spaghetti at OTHS
The O’Fallon Township High School Show Choir is hosting a spaghetti dinner at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22 at the Milburn auditorium and cafeteria.
Test drive a car to raise money for schools
Jack Schmitt Ford is hosting a driving event from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29 at the elementary school located at 309 Hartman Lane in O’Fallon. Central School District 104 earns $20 for each test drive.
