Official counting for the partial special census will begin Friday in the village of Shiloh.
Enumerators will be calling on residents who live in the mid-section of the village and in the south, southeast areas to get an updated count of the village population.
“The current population is approximately 12,700, and due to new development in these areas, we believe the population has significantly increased since 2010,” said John Marquart, village administrator.
Village officials and staff encourage residents who may be contacted for numeration to provide the information requested. Not every resident will be contacted.
