O’Fallon students read Christmas stories to senior citizens

O’Fallon School District 90 Delores Moye Elementary School students from Christi Poteet’s third-grade class and Cheryl Dressler’s fifth-grade class went to the assisted living facility Cambridge House in O’Fallon to read Christmas stories to residents for the second year.

The students practiced reading the stories before the annual adventure on Dec. 15.

Students and seniors exchanged gifts, too, which Poteet said, “was a wonderful exchange of caring.”
