The city honored the O’Fallon Township High School JV South Hockey Club team Monday, March 21, for sweeping the Mississippi Valley Club Hockey Association playoffs, earning the Silver Division trophy, with 7 wins, 0 losses, 1 tie and 2 shootouts. Club coaches and players received a proclamation from Mayor Herb Roach for their “teamwork, dedication and talent.” The team won the Silver Division regular season championship trophy, too.

National Alliance on Mental Illness Southwestern Illinois (NAMI SWI) — 7-8:30 p.m. Online via Zoom. Virtual support meetings for family members and other caregivers of individuals with mental illness. Meetings are peer-led and rely on the knowledge and experiences of the group to help one another. Triad High School presents ‘Fiddler on the Roof’ — 7 p.m. all three days. Triad High School, 703 US-40, Troy. Set in the little village of Anatevka, the story centers on Tevye, a poor milkman, and his five daughters. With the help of a colorful and tight-knit Jewish community, Tevye tries to protect his daughters and instill them with traditional values in the face of changing social mores and the growing anti-Semitism of Czarist Russia. Rich in historical and ethnic detail, the play’s universal theme of tradition cuts across barriers of race, class, nationality and religion, leaving audiences crying tears of laughter, joy and sadness. Tickets are $5 adults, $3 students and seniors.

O’Fallon Garden Club — 6:30 p.m. Katy Cavins Center, 308 E. Fifth St., O’Fallon. Michael Hatfield, owner of Flyway Family Farms, will be presenting ‘All About Mushrooms’ via Zoom. Hatfield and his family own and operate Flyway Family Farm, growing up to 15 varieties of mushrooms year round. Hatfield’s interest in mushrooms started with morel hunting and quickly expanded into growing as a hobby. It expanded to extra crops on their family farm and has become their primary business.

St. Clair County Genealogical Society — 7 p.m. Online via Zoom. Program: “Our Role in the 1950 Census.” FamilySearch and the National Genealogical Society have a unique crowdsourcing project to make the 1950 U.S. census easier for everyone to search and discover their family connections. This meeting summarizes the project to bring 150 million records of the individuals on the census’ tens of thousands of digital images to be available online and freely searchable, and the role individuals and societies will play. The Sheldon Rhythm & Jazz Series: Dianne Reeves — 8 p.m. Sheldon Concert Hall, 3648 Washington Blvd., St. Louis.
