▪ National Alliance on Mental Illness Southwestern Illinois (NAMI SWI) — 7-8:30 p.m. Online via Zoom. Virtual support meetings for family members and other caregivers of individuals with mental illness. Meetings are peer-led and rely on the knowledge and experiences of the group to help one another. ▪ St. Clair County Genealogical Society — 7 p.m. Online via Zoom. From Seminary to University: 194 Years of History in the McKendree Archives. McKendree Holman Library Director Deborah Houk and University of Illinois-Springfield public history graduate program student Justin Smock provide a brief history of McKendree University, and the difference between an archivist versus an historian. They cover what types of materials can be found in the Archives and how to access them; their digitized materials and how to request information from the Archives. ▪ The Sheldon presents Erin Schreiber, violin — 8 p.m. Sheldon Concert Hall, 3648 Washington Blvd., St. Louis. Violinist and St. Louis Symphony assistant concertmaster Erin Schreiber leads a string quartet featuring fellow violinist Shawn Weil, violist Leonid Plashinov-Johnson and cellist Bjorn Ranheim, and, along with pianist Peter Henderson, performs the Brahms Piano Quintet. The quartet will also play Ravel’s String Quartet in F Major and a new work for string quartet by Mizzou composer Maria Laura Disandro. Schreiber also plays “Andantino Quietoso” by Cesar Franck.
