2016 Art Contest winners honored by O’Fallon Woman’s Club
The O’Fallon Woman’s Club presented their Annual Art Contest awards for 2016 at the O’Fallon Library on Saturday March 5. This year’s contest was geared for students attending the local Jr. High Schools and projects were to be 2-D collages representing the student’s school life, interests or activities.
First place winner for her piece titled “Abstract Fulton” was McKenna Hall, a sixth grader at Fulton Jr. High.
Tied with Hanna Donahue for second place, with her piece titled “My School Activities“, was Mary M. Buchanan a seventh grade student from Carriel Jr. High.
The three winning projects of the OWC 2016 Art Contest will be displayed in the newly renovated Children’s section of the O’Fallon Library through the month of March.
