Obituary — Barbara Rixe
Barbara (Gould) Rixe, 81, of Cahokia, Ill., died Friday, April 22, 2016.
A private visitation will be held Thursday, April 28, 2016, at Schildknecht Funeral Home, 301 S. Lincoln Ave. O’Fallon. Barbara was born on Sept. 24, 1934 to Edger and Myrtle (Nelson) Gouldin Corning, Ark.
She was the manager and head cook for Food Service and retired after 15 years. She loved to cook.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Rixe, and parents, and three brothers, Sterle Gould, Paul Gould, and Don Gould.
Barbara is survived by her sons, Paul David (Gail) Brumit of Milan, Tenn., and Gregory Brumit of Dupo; a step-son, Doug Brumit of Rosebud, Mo.; and a sister-in-law, Erma Gould. Interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
