Ralph L. Homburg
Ralph L. Homburg, 77, of O’Fallon, passed away Tuesday, March 31, at his home in O’Fallon.
Ralph was born Dec. 13, 1937, in Cottage Grove, Wis. He worked as Administrative Personnel for the United States Air Force, where he retired after 26 years as a Sr. Msgt and he worked for the United States Post Office, where he retired as a Postal Clerk. He loved gardening and enjoyed spending time with his family and having friends over to play cards. He was very sweet and witty and a good father to his sons and grandfather to his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin Fredrick and Violet Electra Homburg, nee Williamson; brothers, Winfred Homburg and Marvin Homburg; sisters, Clarice Martinson and Louise Williamson; and step-mother, Marion Homburg.
Ralph is survived by his wife, Benja Homburg, nee Bupasiri, of O’Fallon; sons, Anucha Homburg of O’Fallon, Randy (Heather) Homburg of Lebanon, Chuck (Shannon) Homburg of O’Fallon, Christian Homburg of O’Fallon and Benjamin Homburg of O’Fallon; siblings, Jean Salje of Columbia, Wis., Lois Hagen of Staunton Wis., and Phillip Homburg of Olonomowoc, Wis.; grandchildren, Rylan Lawrence Homburg, Grace Anne Homburg and Owen Robert Homberg; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, April 2, Schildknecht Funeral Home, 301 S. Lincoln Ave., O’Fallon.
Funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 2, at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Weins officiating.
He will later be laid to rest in his homeland of Wisconsin.
Schildknecht Funeral Home and Cremation Services will handle the arrangements.
