NEW EPR TECHNICAL APPLICATIONS AND MECHANICS
The Top 3 will host New EPR Technical Applications and Mechanics for advice and tricks on how to properly use the new Adobe formatted EPR from 9-10 a.m. Sept. 16 in the Library Auditorium. The presenter will be Chief Master Sgt. Brandy Petzel, 375th FSS Superintendent. No registration needed, just be in a seat by 8:55 a.m.
BASE-WIDE YARD SALE
It’s yard sale time. Sign-up to sell or come take a look around at the next base-wide yard sale from 8 a.m.-noon Sept. 17 outside at the ALS Picnic Pavilion. The cost is $15, which includes one display table, two chairs, set-up/break down of display area. Deadline to sign-up is noon Sept. 16. Reservations can be made over the phone or in person. DMV AT SCOTT EVENT CENTER
Need to renew a license plate sticker, but can’t make it to the DMV? Catch the Illinois Department of Motor Vehicles mobile unit from 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. every third Wednesday of the month at the Scott Event Center. This DMV mobile unit offers basic vehicle services, such as driver license renewals (including road tests), ID cards and vehicle registration. The mobile unit is scheduled to next appear Sept. 21 inside the Corporal Scott Room. Stop by or call 256-5501 for more details.
COOKING MATTERS AT THE STORE REGISTRATION
The 5210 Healthy Military Children Program will host Cooking Matters at the Store, an interactive group grocery store tour intended to teach you how to select healthy and affordable foods, Sept. 27. This tour will teach people how to buy fruits and vegetables on a budget, to read and compare food labels, identify whole grains, and more. Participants receive a workbook full of recipes and a Cooking Matters reusable grocery tote. Registration is free and required.
