Scott Air Force Base misconduct notices, 3rd Quarter 2016

ARTICLE 15 ACTIONS:

▪ Senior Airman failure to go on two occasions. The individual was reduced to Airman First Class and given a Reprimand. This was the individual’s second Article 15 Action.

▪ Airman 1st Class wrongful use of Cocaine. The individual was reduced to Airman, forfeited $409, given 14 days extra duty, and given a reprimand.

▪ Tech. Sgt. failure to go on two occasions. The individual forfeited $880 and was given a reprimand.

▪ Senior Airman wrongful use of Marijuana. The individual was reduced to Airman and forfeited $878.

▪ Airman drove under the influence. The individual was reduced to Airman Basic, given 14 days extra duty, and given a reprimand.

▪ Staff Sgt. drove under the influence. The individual was reduced to Senior Airman, forfeited $77 of pay for two months that was suspended for six months, and given a reprimand. This was the individuals second Article 15 Action.

▪ Staff Sgt. drove under the influence. The individual was reduced to Senior Airman that was suspended for six months, forfeited $579 of pay, given 14 days extra duty, and given a reprimand.

▪ Staff Sgt. committed larceny from the Base Exchange. The individual was reduced to Senior Airman that was suspended for six months, forfeiture of $1,241 of pay for two months, given 45 days extra duty, and was given a reprimand.

COURT MARTIAL ACTION:

▪ On April 21 Senior Airman John D. Gonzalez, 19th Air Support Operations Squadron, Fort Campbell, Ky., plead not guilty, but was ultimately convicted of violating one specification of Article 120, Sexual Assault. He was found guilty by officer and enlisted members and was sentenced to be reduced to the grade of E-1, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, to be confined for six years, and to be given a bad conduct discharge.

DISCHARGE ACTIONS:

▪ Senior Airman was discharged for Minor Disciplinary Infractions via a Notification Discharge Action. The individual had two Article 15 actions, six Letters of Reprimand, and an Unfavorable Information File. The individual received an Under Honorable Conditions Discharge (General).

▪ Airman 1st Class was discharged for Minor Disciplinary Infractions via a Notification Discharge Action. The individual had five Letters of Reprimand, a Letter of Counseling, and an Unfavorable Information File. The individual received an Under Honorable Conditions Discharge.

▪ Airman 1st Class was discharged for Minor Disciplinary Infractions via a Notification Discharge Action. The individual had one Article 15 action, three Letters of Reprimand, three Letters of Counseling, and an Unfavorable Information File. The individual received an Under Honorable Conditions Discharge.

▪ Airman was discharged for Drug Abuse via a Notification Discharge Action. The individual received one Article 15 for Wrongful Use of Cocaine. The individual received an Under Honorable Conditions Discharge.

▪ Senior Airman was discharged with a Mental Disorder via a Notification Discharge Action. The individual had received four Memorandum For Records, one Letter of Admonishment, one Letter of Reprimand, and four Letters of Counseling.

The individual received an Under Honorable Conditions Discharge.
