Senior Airman Jeremy Poblano, 457th Airlift Squadron, is this week’s “Showcase on ICE.” Poblano is responsible for the preparation of flight authorizations for a 1,800 Flying Hour Program and collects, monitors and audits flying operations data pertaining to aircrew resources and training. He ensures Go/No-Go validation and analyzes trends which enables globally deployable aircrews. He has designed a webpage that allows each shop to access up-to-date critical flying documents in seconds, slashing review time in half. Poblano has been the go-to shop lead in the event of NCOIC absence. Hand selected by the squadron commander to brief the Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force, he helped showcase a distinguished visitor mission and the daily operations of the 457th AS. Poblano, currently a SSgt Select, is setting his sights on the future as he actively pursues his goal of attending Air Force Officer Trading School.
