Staff Sgt. Kristin Prosser, 375th Dental Squadron, is this week’s “Showcase on ICE.” Prosser is the NCOIC of the Dental Squadron Instrument Processing Center as well as the Squadron’s NCOIC of Infection Control. Due to her attention to detail and eye for quality, Prosser was integral in developing a new program in the unit called the “Great Communicator.” In this role, Prosser integrates innovation into daily operations by identifying, enhancing, and reinforcing the dental team’s effort to engage in critical thinking and develop creative solutions to problems they encounter. Lastly, Prosser ensures patient safety protocol compliance through patient treatment shadowing and proper procedure verification. Her program uses peer-to-peer training and helps solidify patient safety standards. Prosser’s skill and work ethic have strengthened the Dental Squadron’s ability to achieve greater efficiency and enhanced readiness verification, customer accolades, and process improvement opportunities.
