Team Scott’s First Sergeant Council selected Staff Sgt. Kyle Griffin, 837th Cyberspace Operations Squadron, to receive the Diamond Sharp Award. The council states that he is a remarkable leader and asset to his Cyber Protection team and Squadron. He has remained focused and operationally driven, completing his 5-level upgrade training six months ahead of schedule, earning the Squadron’s Achiever of the Month. In the meantime he worked in the time to fulfill his Community College of the Air Force Degree requirements in cybersecurity while maintaining a 3.9 GPA and also earning the John L. Levitow Award for his leadership and academic excellence at Airman Leadership School. Griffin also volunteered to lead a 30-member team at an Exceptional Family Member Program morale event, which organized activities that helped enrich the quality of life for 100 base family members, thus helping him win the squadron’s NCO of the Quarter.
