The 32nd Annual St. Paul Fine Arts Patriotic Concert will take place at 3 p.m. June 25 in the church sanctuary, 115 West B St., Belleville.
The St. Paul United Church of Christ Fine Arts Series will present the concert, which is dedicated to “The Pride of America—A Salute to All Veterans and the 100th Anniversary of Scott AFB.” Special guests include Retired Army Maj. Gen. William Enyart, who will serve as master of ceremonies; U.S. Transportation Command Color Guard from Scott Air Force Base; Belleville Fire Department; Massed Community Choir; and pianists Annette Burkhart and Daniel Fry.
The annual Patriotic Concert is a 32-year tradition at St. Paul United Church of Christ, so it’s a great honor for me to serve as master of ceremonies for the concert at my home church. It is especially an honor since the year’s concert honors Scott AFB, which is where my military career began in 1969.
