Air Force implements change to Club Membership—credit cards no longer required

The Air Force is revolutionizing its club membership program soon to include a transition away from the club credit card to the AF Club Membership portal.

A credit card is no longer required in order to become a member.

The Air Force Services Activity has partnered with MemberPlanet to manage the Air Force Club Membership portal through a web site, as well as develop a mobile application for personal electronic devices. Members can now choose to use their top of the wallet credit or debit card to pay for membership dues.

At Scott, the Scott Event Center will host multiple special events during August where staff will personally assist members in the “transfer” of their membership. One event is a Membership Appreciation Breakfast on Aug. 16 where members receive a free breakfast buffet while transferring.

In addition to more freedom with dues payment methods, members will be better informed about club programs and events in “real time” through the web portal and mobile application.

Another opportunity is Aug. 31 where members transferring their membership will receive a free lunch buffet.

Anyone that transfers their membership during August will be eligible for prizes to include $10,000 cash, $1,000 cash, lifetime memberships and more. For more information on the new Air Force Clubs Membership portal, stop by the Scott Event Center, call 256-5501, or visit www.375fss.com.
