Team Scott participates in grueling SWC-III triathlon

Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command hosted the Surface Warrior Challenge III “Three-Peat Triathlon” Aug. 12 at Scott. SWC-III is a triathlon consisting of three events: Swimming, biking and running.

Categories consisted of the Individual (Mini), the Team (Mini), the Individual (Full), the Team (Full), the Three-Peat (Individual), and the Three-Peat (Team). Overall, the triathlon featured 137 participants who swam a total of 31,500 meters, biked 1,404 miles, and ran 238 miles.
