Scott plans events for Fire Prevention Week

The following events are taking place as part of Fire Prevention Week:

▪ Oct. 10: A base library puppet show from 9 a.m.-noon; a visit at the Child Development Center from 2:30-3:30 p.m. Both events will have a fire engine static display;

▪ Oct. 11: A visit to the Child Development Center from 9-10 a.m. with a fire engine static display; a display at the Base Exchange from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.;

▪ Oct. 12: The fire department will visit Scott Elementary School from 6:30 a.m.-3 p.m. and the youth center from 3:30-4:30 p.m.; and

▪ Oct. 13: The fire department will host a family childcare program visit at Fire Station 2 from 9-10 a.m. and a fall festival and open house in Patriot’s Landing from 4-7 p.m.
