DoD highlights Air Force’s best

The Department of Defense selected a handful of the military’s best photos.

Here are some from the Air Force’s sharpest shooters.

The photos include a Special Tactics Airman with the 24th Special Operations Wing rappelling into the Al Biadia Cave Complex during a personnel rescue mission for Eager Lion in Mafraq Province, Jordan.

Another photo shows simulated injured patients being tended to during an exercise at Scott.

Yet another photo shows Airmen assigned to the 20th Civil Engineer Squadron fire department extinguishing a fire during a live fire training scenario at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina.
