375TH AMW “SHOWCASE ON ICE”

Staff Sgt. Brian Hoorman, 375th Logistics Readiness Squadron transportation management office journeyman, is this week’s “Showcase on ICE.”

Hoorman distinguished himself by resolving a vital error in shipping medical intravenous bags.

The problem occurred due to improper organization of fragile items and heavy items.

Three boxes were returned due to the damage and could not be used for the mission. Hoorman thought outside the box and designed a divider that not only organized the IV bags but protected them from getting crushed.

Due to his innovation and excellence this issue has completely disappeared and the missions are accomplished as intended.
