FIRST FRIDAY

It’s First Friday at Zeppelins Food & Drinks! Come out at 3 p.m. Feb. 2 for camaraderie, drink specials and entertainment! Free appetizers snacks for all. All attendees have the chance to win a PlayStation 4 ... plus gift cards First Fridays are free and open to all. FOOTBALL FANATICS: BIG GAME PARTY

Catch all the action of the Super Bowl on Feb. 4 during the Football Fanatics: Big Game Party at Zeppelins Food & Drinks. Doors open at 4:30 p.m., open to all ranks. Enjoy their mega-buffet filled with fried chicken, pulled pork, slaw, tater tots and nachos from 5-7:30 p.m. The buffet is free for members, $9 for non-members. Plus, enjoy fantasy “draft” specials: Bud Light mini-pitchers for $4 or Bud/Bud Light/Select buckets for $7.50.

Winners of the big game giveaway will be awarded a 60 inch Smart TV and two LaZBoy Recliners. JOB FAIR/ON-THE-SPOT INTERVIEWS

The 375th Force Support Squadron is hosting a job fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 5 at the Cardinal Creek Golf Course. Bring a resume for on-the-spot interviews. Open Non Appropriated Fund positions include automotive mechanic leader, laborers, recreation aids, cooks, Child & Youth Program assistants, custodial workers, waiters, bartenders, food service workers, lifeguards and more. BOWLING 2.0 CLASSES BEGIN

This exciting program is designed to introduce or reintroduce people to bowling. This class meets once a week for four weeks and covers the fundamentals of bowling. Topics include approach, markings, grip, lane courtesy, spare shooting and much more. People who completed this class will be ready to bowl in the Bowling 2.0 league (optional). Cost is $40 per person. Classes are held at 5:30 p.m. Mondays with the first session beginning Feb. 5. Adult and juniors welcome. Can’t make the February session? ADJUSTED HOURS OF OPERATION DURING EXERCISE

Due to a base exercise Feb. 5-9, the Fitness Center and James Sports Center will have adjusted hours of operation. The Fitness Center will be unmanned, but 24-hour access will be available for authorized registered users. The James Sports Center will be open from 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. People should visit the Fitness Center during their regular duty hours (4:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday-Friday Monday) in order to ensure they are registered for 24-hour access. HAPPY HOUR FRIDAYS AT THE EVENT CENTER

Beginning Feb. 9, enjoy the exclusive benefits of club membership by attending the Scott Event Center every Friday for happy hour. The “First Friday” celebration of every month will continue to be an avenue where all attendees can enjoy free food. On all other Fridays, club members can enjoy complimentary appetizers and snacks from 4-6 p.m. while non-members can enjoy for only $8. Make plans to spend time with friends and co-workers every Friday at the Scott Event Center.

PRE-TEEN VALENTINE DANCE

Youth are invited to the Youth Program’s Pre-Teen Valentine Dance scheduled for 7-9 p.m. Feb. 9. Epic night of dancing, karaoke, and fun. Plus take fun pictures at the photo booth. Snacks provided. SWEETHEART BOWLING TOURNAMENT

FAMILY ARCHERY CLINIC, TOURNAMENT & CHILI COOK-OFF REGISTRATION DEADLINE

Hear Ye, Hear Ye ... join Outdoor Recreation for their Robin Hood Shoot-out Clinic, Tournament & Chili Cook-Off from 2-6 p.m. March 3 at the Archery Range. People must preregister by Feb. 16. Try the special family archery clinic for only $8/person (ages 8+) with all supplies provided. Compete in the archery tournament for just $10/person (ages 16+). For this event, people must bring their own gear. Participants can also enter the Chili Cook-Off!

MIKE SUPER PERFORMING LIVE ON STAGE AT SCOTT

As the winner of NBC’s hit TV show “Phenomenon,” Mike Super is the only magician in history to win a live magic competition on prime-time U.S. network television and voted “America’s Favorite Mystifier.” Super is also a top finalist on NBC's No. 1 rated summer series “America’s Got Talent.” The Scott AFB population will have the opportunity to see Mike Super Live on Feb. 20 at the Library Auditorium. 2018 SPRING MIXER OPEN HOUSE

Start the spring season right and join the Cardinal Creek Golf Course and Stars & Strikes Bowling Center on Feb. 21 for their 2018 Spring Mixer Open House. The fun begins at 4 p.m. at Cardinal Creek Golf Course. Take advantage of this free social event and learn about all the great programs at the golf course and bowling center such as Annual Greens Fee memberships, golf and bowling leagues, outings, lessons and upcoming golf tournaments. New for 2018, is the Loyalty Rewards Program and continued AGF Referral Program for current AGF Members.

The event will include attendance prize drawings plus other prize giveaways. Patrons who purchase or have purchased or renewed a 2018 Annual Greens Fee membership by 8 p.m. that day will be entered in the $250 gift card prize drawing. Any organization that “books” or has “booked” a golf outing by 8 p.m. that night will be entered for a $500 outing credit to be used for prizes, golf, food, etc. This event is open to everyone, so invite friends and neighbors to come out.
